Assertive flavours of biscuit, honeysuckle and toasted nuts with tantalising notes of zest, mint and honey. Unlike our house pilsners, this beer features a higher ABV and a much firmer bitterness while still finishing incredibly dry and crisp.

On tap at Luppolo. Pours a clear blonde with a white head. Crisp dry grass and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has a clean cracker malt base, lots of dry grass, and an assertive bitterness. Crisp, clean pilsner.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, bright, pale. Aroma of grass, mild, and light bread. It's dry, crisp, with a delicate, good malt base, bread, breadcrust; the bitterness is in balance, there is some grassy and herbaceous character, a bit spicy in the finish, not exactly the Hallertau I was used to, but it works.
Solid.

Hazy, thick head, pale. Not much of a nose but a hefty bitterness, big malt backdrop, that's probably more Bavarian than northern but the unfiltered nature is neither. However, it does have the robust hopping of a north german Pils and if I think of it like unfiltered Jever I'm liking it a lot.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a haY golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out herbal hop notes, lots of toasted grain, and straw. Flavour is grassy in the hop department, in classic German fashion, with crisp crackery malt and some straw. Grassy, crackery and somewhat herbal. Solid enough.

Poured from the tap. Lightly hazed gold with white head. Honey, quite a soft biscuit malt, dry mouthfeel despite that prominent honey. Decent.
