330ml (thx, Brian!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: coffee, some green peppers, some milk, a lot of grains, a little bit sweet. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: ok.

330mL bottle. Pours murky brown with small beige head. Aroma has some toasty malts and a bit of coffee. Flavour has coffee and toasted malts as well. It's okay.

Light brown, and a big coffee aroma. Some tartness, a bit of coffee. Thin, not necessarily hitting. There's coffee, but the base misses a bit.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals toasted malt, some sugars, and a touch of earthiness. Flavour is a bit herbal, with some dry dark fruits, light coffee, and toasted malt. I'm sure this is good for Colombia, but it's pretty weak and watery. Meh.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Hazed very dark brown with minimal off-white head. Lots of coffee on the nose. Taste has some feint metallic notes, coffee is still quite prevalent, but softer on the tongue. Decent coffee black lager. Almost more of a cold brew coffee that hides the black lager to some degree so can see that being divisive for is this really a beer people.

Coffee and some roast. Dark brown pour with decent head. Decent Schwarzbier, coffee works. Bitter finish. Bottle at Bruder in Villa de Leyva.
