Bottle, at Matt's; vintage 2023
Black colour, small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate. Good body; moderate sweetness; chocolate and biscuits base, with a touch of vanilla, and hop alcohol.
Very good.

22oz bottle. Pours very dark with thin head. Aroma has a bunch of bourbon, vanilla, and brown sugar. Flavour has nice balance of roasted malts, bourbon, and sweet sugars. Really nice.

22oz @ Matt's (thx for the beer, dude!) house. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: balanced vanilla, some sweetness, a bit of booze, some American oak. Taste: loads of vanilla, American oak, a bit on the thin side to me in terms of body, moderately sweet. Overall: good one.

Dark brown. Thin head. Some decent vanilla aroma, fairly chocolatey. On the palate, it's soft, sweet, vanilla, with a bit of chocolate. A decent amount of alcohol in the finish, the bourbon coming through but strangely not really blending well with the vanilla of all things, the alcohol gets a touch clashy there.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a harmonious vanilla bean expression, subtle bourbon, and a touch of molasses. Flavour is robust, with a complex vanilla bean character, a nice bourbon character, molasses, and a touch of booze. Really nice vanilla blend on top of the nice sturdy base beer. Finishes with a somewhat bitter astringency. Very good.
