Bottle shared by tfontana on 9/21/25. Congrats on your 7,000th rating!
Dark, viscous. Little/no head.
Nutty, earthy, with piquant berry and some lactose character I don't love. Not boozey. Not a ton of barrel here but it's soft and rounded with light bourbon aromatics and sweetness.
Quite sweet with malt and lactose and fruit sugar combining to slightly cloy the palate on the finish. This 100% did not need lactose. Still wildly sugary after two years with very minimal barrel character; just a bit of char. Even the malt adds little balance, having a bit of dark chocolate and toast to it but very minimally flavorful overall. The fruit and malt taste good, but it's sooooo sweet...

Chocolate, some American oak, noticeable granola notes. Taste is along the same lines, very sweet, dark berries notes, granola, nutty. A liquid dessert, nice!

500ml shared with Farees @ Matt's (thx for the beer, man!) new place. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: very intense with nice berries, chocolate, American oak. Smells like Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Acai Blueberry. Taste: along the same lines, nice body, lots of berries, chocolate, and American oak on the back. Overall: a liquid version of Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Acai Blueberry. Very nice.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of red berries, granola, lactose, and intense vanilla. Flavour has a pretty wonderful mix of red berries, granola and vanilla, rounded out by the bourbon barrels. Really nice mix of adjuncts here. Fantastic as always.
