Tasting at Ryan's, can
Cloudy pink/brownish colour. Some acidity in the aroma, grape skins, soil. Moderately acidic; mild grape flavour, while the beer characteristics are lacking.
Pleasant.

12oz @ Ryan's (thx, dude!) shared with Farees and Alex. Appearance: like a very diluted raspberry smoothie. Aroma: some manure at first. Mostly tannins and grapes character. Taste: very nice and prominent complex grapes character, some tannins. Overall: very nice.

Poured from 355mL can. Hazy pale pastel orange with minimal white head. Juicy grape pomace, simple, but effective, mild bugs and tartness, decent.

10oz pour at brewery. Pours cloudy muddy orange with large foamy white head. Aroma has a lot of light vinous red wine notes and some funky yeast. Flavour is similar but with a more pronounced mustiness. Carbonation is high, which does the beer well. Overall I think the beer lacks aggression in flavour; there are much better grape-centric beers out there.

Pale opaque brownish purpley sort of colour. Thick head. Slightly yeasty, subtle grape, mellow tartness, everything in a gentle balance. I do prefer these types of beers with a burlier grape but this is pretty nice for a beer focused take.

10 oz. can pour at Luppolo, pours a cloudy dark amber orange with a huge, white, foamy head. Aroma is rather musty, with soft grape must, earthiness, and some wild bugs. Flavour is quite vinous despite the second use grapes, with plenty of grape must, some bugs, and aggressive carbonation to amplify the spent grapes. The clarity of the grapes isn't very good, and the wild yeast doesn't express itself all that well. I like the above average carbonation, but this isn't a very well-calibrated grape wild ale.
