Daniela and Antonio from Cantina Giardino sent us Greco grapes, a variety of white wine grapes.
These grapes underwent a 6 months pellicular maceration in an amphora.
The grapes were pressed and the marc was sent to the brewery and blended with a two year old Lambic.

0,1l from 0,75l bottle at the Cantillon Tasting at the Arrogant Sour Festival. The Tastig consisted of the following beers: Cantina Giardino (this one), Vin Santo, Blabaer 2018, Balsamic Lambic, Amfora 2013. Unfortunatly for technical reasons I lost my notes from the tasting so here is a sum up from memory. This one was very subtle and delicate. Light grape notes, earthy, citric, light funk. Almost no carbonation. Loved the very delicate balance. Very good one. 8, 4, 8, 4, 16

Score: 7 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16 - - From bottle at Cantillon Forum, Arrogant Sour Festival 2018. Bottled one month ago.
Straw colored, moderate hazy body, with almost no head.
Aroma of white wine, barrel, sweet grapes, citrus.
Tastes similar, with more subtle funk.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes smooth, vinous, wooden, medium dry, a bit sweet, with white grapes.
Tasty. Vinous and smooth to drink, with the grapes quite dominant, while leaving room for the barrel notes and subtle funk. Not among the best grape Lambics I've had, but still really lovely stuff.
