Cask at GBBF ’14. Mid- to dark gold with a lively natural head. Takes a while to clear. Fresh aroma of orange peel, sea salt, sulphur, lemon butter. Very Burtonesque. There is an astringent bittersweet initial taste which gives way to an almost savoury/salty finish. Aftertaste carries some bitter/sour intensity. Weak body but high in natural carbonation. Salty aftertaste stays and stays, leaves you wanting more. Overall: nice but unassuming. A cut above the average best bitter, although I think I’m benefitting from having this in perfect condition. This would be ruined if even slightly past its best.

Cask - Caramel and twig. Clear copper with a thin white head. Bitterness and light caramel notes, nothing new.

Cask @ Rover's Return, Douglas. Orange-brown in the glass, the beer starts smooth and fresh. Slightly bitter, easy to drink. Smooth malts, not too deep. Slightly sweet till the end, fresh, slightly malty-bitter. Easy-to-drink Ale.
