A creamy headed, smooth amber ale, reflecting its 100% malt mash. A subtle bitterness from Manx grown hops giving a clean taste and aroma, with a slight fruit/spice after taste – good all round session beer reflecting the beer purity laws under which it was produced.

Cask gravity at Ales of the Unexpected Margate. Clear amber colour thin white head. Amber malty bitter english hops. Touch of yeast which is a good valance to the malt and hop. Not overly hoppy. Ok.

Clear amber beer with a white head and late malty aroma. Flavour is a fairly standard bitter but with a nice, light twist of citrus in there. Aftertaste is quite dry. Nothing special but perfectly drinkable, a good session beer.

Hand-pulled pint in the Trafalgar, Ramsey (IoM) on 8th April 2015. Light amber with a white topping. Strange farmyard, homebrew sort of smell and flavours: did not take to the beer at all. Big disappointment as this was only my second pint on the island. Maybe it was passed it’s best or was off, but I didn’t take it back, I just drank it and got something else next!
