Dark brown colour with no head. More of a strong ale with a dark side of cacao and dark fruits, rather than an Imperial Stout. It's not bad, but it's a bit rough and not cohesive.

500ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: dark brown with a bubbly weak head. Aroma: oaky, kinda fruity like aged in wine barrels, some meaty notes, a bit of booze. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet and boozy. Overall: meh.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with very minimal off white head. Lots of woody oak, mild chocolate and roast malt. Quite flat in body. Aroma better than taste. Okay.

500mL bottle, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is loaded with oak barrels, bitter dark chocolate, wood, and toasted malt. Flavour is bitter, boozy, and oaky, with lots of bitter dark chocolate, lots of oak, wood, toasted malt, and booze. A bit lacking in refinement and under-carbonated, but it's got some nice flavours and depth. Good but needs some work.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with little head. Aromas of dark powdery chocolate, faint oak, and roasted malts. Flavors of rich dark chocolate, soft whiskey (more in temperature than taste), soft oak, black coffee and roasted malts. Clean. Very good.
