Bright amber, not much head. Spicy hop nose. Fairly sweet on the palate, not nearly as much hop brightness as I’d probably like. And less hop expression than the aroma promised.

Poured from 473mL can (thanks fiulijn). Clear blonde gold with small white head. Underripe melon hops, mild berry hops in the background, lager yeast, feint booze, decent, but doesn't quite come together as I had hoped.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out mineraly notes, melony hops, a touch of tropical and citrusy hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite juicy, with tropical, melony hops -- really a lot of green melon -- along with sugars, bready malt, and a hint of caramel. Lots of green melon juiciness and moderate sweetness on the finish. It's good but I hoped for a more vibrant hop character, more hop bitterness, and a little less sweetness.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, clear. Delicate aroma, some pine and some zest, mineral, hint of tropical fruit. Good body structure, lean, light residual sweetness, supporting delicate bready malt, with a very light touch of toffee and straws, all this is very enticing; the hop character is gently piney, and with a touch of bitter citrus; hint of baking spices and minerals in the finish, good bitterness level, alcohol warmth.
Clean, excellent.
