Farmhouse ale/wine hybrid with Grenache Blanc & Marsanne grapes
A farmhouse ale refermented with crushed and de-stemmed Organic Grenache Blanc (40%) and Marsanne (40%) grapes and blended with Syrah Pomace (20%) at packaging. We are intentional about where we get our ingredients from and have been thrilled to work with third-generation farmer Phil Cline of Conley Vineyard on this project. Situated in an organic certified vineyard in the Columbia Valley AVA, Conley Vineyard has an elevation of 1550.’ This cooler district offers a longer more even growing season offering better development, more complex aromas and flavors.

750mL bottle at Fair Isle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has lightly tart grape skins, wild yeast, and some rustic notes. Flavour is musty, with lots of earthy grape skins, rustic saison yeast, and a touch of oak. Musty, rustic and earthy in good cohesion. Excellent.

Pale, touch of haze. Not much head. Nice brett aroma, pale malt, vinous notes. Good complexity, nice structure, with a hint of acidity to pull everything together.
