Sogno, which means dream in Italian, pays homage to classic American Pilsners using a combination of American grown corn and six row barley along with Cluster hops, one of the oldest varieties developed in the States. Expect a full body from the ample amount of corn balanced with a crisp finish and a cloud-like head of foam from the natural carbonation.

Straw, slight haze, thin head. Moderate bitterness. It’s a bit husky but decently creamy, clean with a nice residual sweetness. Moderate carbonation. This is basically a spot on pre-pro and I’m going to give it points for that.

On tap at Luppolo. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Lots of crisp grass, straw, and pale malts on the nose. Flavour has straw, dry grass, and biscuit malts. Hopping is okay, slight bitterness near the finish, good body. Crisp and enjoyable.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear blonde with a huge white head. Aroma has gentle grassy hops, fresh straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is light, with a crisp grassy hop character and crackery malt base. Nice little bitterness on the finish; clean mouthfeel and reasonably hopped. Solid.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish yellow gold with white head. Pils-like malt with a corn underlay, grass hops, clean, solid simple pils.
