Dark brown, rich almond, marzipan, chocolate nose. Boozy finish, definitely big on the marzipan. The alcohol cuts through the richness a bit. Could use some barrel to round it out, let the sugars express themselves a bit more.

On tap at Pure Project - North Park, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma has tons of almonds upfront, followed by vanilla and a touch of coffee. Flavour is full of almond extract, with a touch of vanilla and a hint of coffee. That's a lot of almond extract. Not the most complex or elegant pastry, but it's well-structured. Good marzipan bomb.
