On tap at Barley & Sword, pours a clear pale copper golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, with light grass and sweet cereal malt — doesn't really smell like a helles. Flavour is not particularly on style, with sweet cereal grains and gentle grassiness. Drinks more like a weak German pils than a helles. It's fine.

Slow pour helles at the source. Clear, light to medium honey, scummy lace. Cracker, basic nose. Mellow, light honey, bittersweet herbal back end, slight pepper on the finish. Not too sweet. Better than okay.
