A rich and smooth new-American Stout that harkens back to one our favorite peanut buttery desserts: The Buckeye. Featuring a wonderfully "peanutty" flavor and brewed with over 10 different malt varieties, plus oats and lactose, for a rich and chocolately mouthfeel, but this 6% stout won't punish your waistline if you go in for another.
Contains: Peanuts and Lactose.

On tap at Portland taproom. Pours dark brown with off-white head. Aroma has peanut butter and soggy roasted malts. Flavour has very minor peanut butter notes, roasted malt, and a weird fruity aftertaste. Not particularly enjoyable.

On tap at Crux - PDX, pours dark brown with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma has weak PB2 powder, some cocoa powder, not much actual peanut butter character. Flavour just doesn't work β there's some weird fruitiness, faint PB2 powder, and a hint of cocoa. What? Fruity and lacking malt depth, and no real actual peanut butter.
