Fort George has feelings. Feelings about hops, feelings about beverage clarity, feelings about malt character. It’s pretty much impossible to communicate the depth and gravity of our feelings. Which is why we brewed this cold IPA.
Fort George is not the only brewery with feelings – our friends at Gold Dot Beer have more feelings about fermentation temperature than anyone else we know. And our new collab, Wojak Hopman, is a truly emotional cold IPA – all the bright, snappy, citrusy power of an IPA combined with the super dry, almost bitter, crystal clarity of a lager.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Elliott Bay Pizza, Mill Creek. After growing slightly impatient with finding a cold IPA that truly stood out as exceptional, I had to find this one, per mcberko's recommendation. Clean and bright golden appearance, piney and melon hop aroma explode from the glass. Cool melon and piney front, with just enough bite to keep this mildly aggressive and ultimately inviting. Piney, oily hops really work nicely with the juicier melon and citrus side. Cold or not, this is how IPA is supposed to be. Expecting greatness from Fort George, this really puts the other brewer on my radar beyond just having heard of them. A 4.6 though??? Yeah, it's a 4.6.

16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is jam-packed with fragrant NZ hoppy goodness - so much white wine, melon, piney hops - damn that's nice. Flavour is no less expressive, with intense piney hop goodness, some white wine tang, melon, and plenty of spicy, grassy bitterness on the finish. This is seriously awesome - so much NZ hoppy decadence, so clean, biting, and crisp. One of the best IPAs I've had in recent years.
