Hazy, dullish amber. So it doesn't look great. There's a lot of bugs right up front on the aroma, and a lot of wood. It's got a soft malt character, with mellow bugs like brett c. A bit of leathery accent, and it has some good tannins in the finish. There's even some sweetness, so there's a really good balance and it has good complexity. I like the rusticity; it's on brand but lends this a certain uniqueness that lands well.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty buggy, with lots of wild yeast, a bunch of oak, and low-level acidity. Flavour is full of oak, lots of wild yeast, light funk, and low-level acidity. Nice barrel character and oakiness on the finish. Very good.
