This Reserve is a new fast favourite. It has a stunning orange-gold colour in the glass, a little sweetness with plenty go tannin to balance it out - think classic French cider vibes. It is made from a combination of dessert apples that come from all over our orchards, with Dabinett & Michellin - true cider varieities! - from our awesome neighbours! This cider has notes of caramel & tropical fruits with light tannins and a slight sweetness.

A touch of sweetness, a complex apple profile, not bad, a bit honeyish. Overall good.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle barnyard funk, above average carb, and champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is sweeter than expected, with above average sweetness for C&G, gentle funk, light acidity, and some barnyard notes. Not as complex as expected, with a sweeter-than-desired finish. Good.
