This limited dark ale was aged in an Odd Society Whiskey barrel, that once held port. The fruitiness of the port blends well with the vanilla from the oak.

On tap at The Barley Merchant, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma reveals a pretty revolting whiskey barrel character, reminiscent of standard JD — basically nothing but cheap whiskey and a thin, weak malt base. Flavour is pretty vile, with revolting JD-like barrels. Totally ruined by the barrels.
