Our best bitter. Refreshing with a nice aftertaste and easy on the palate. Made with wheat to give that full bodied feel. Undertones of blackberries and spice and all things nice.

Copper colour, white head. Malty aroma, caramel, hint of dark berries. Malty flavour, light sweetness, straw. Bitter finish, light sweet, light twigs.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Elliswood Legless ].Light unclear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, apple, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, apple, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20140812]

From cask. Pours hazy orange, no lasting head. Aroma is toasted and light grainy. Bitter, toasted and light breadish. Light fruity. Bitter and slight herbal. Dry and toasted malty finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hoppy hints.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is grain, faint caramel, light citrics, woody, paper. Taste improves, bitter orange, straw, light bread notes, grain, caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonations, semi drying close with light bitterness. So so.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold beer with a few white bubbles failing to forn a head. Palate is light and dry with mild fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts bring mild honey.sweetness. Light marmalade with a whisper of something citric. Light dry finish. Okay.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear orange golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, bitterness, malt bitter, lightly hops and a bit old hops. Average, decent body and carbonation.
