On tap at House of Beer, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Nose is intense, with loads of delicious smoky Islay barrels, with smoked, burnt meat, and burnt caramel. Flavour is dominated by the wonderful Islay barrels, giving off lots of peat and smoked meat, followed by subtle burnt dry caramel. Since I'm an Islay fan, the monolithic nature of the barrels is pleasing to me. Love it.

Cloudy, reddish amber. Aroma: malt, red currant jam, wine and bourbon. Taste: woody, vanilla, port wine, butter, bourbon. Great beer.
