Bottle sample at AleBrowar Wroc?aw, pours a very deep dark mahogany. Nose is complex, with wood varnish, marmite, Worcestershire sauce, and honey treacle. Flavour is intense, with cloyingly sweet honey nectar, with secondary notes of Worcestershire sauce, marmite, and wood varnish. Way too syrupy and cloying, even insofar as po?toraks go. One of the more disappointing examples of this mead style, but still quite nice.
