On tap at Holy Mountain, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of dry oats, with earthy rye and bitter espresso. Flavour is very hearty, with lots of oats and earthy rye. Very dry and hearty - the oats really shine. This is great.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Thick, jet black pour, tons of tan cream foam head. I really like what they have going here. A ton of cocoa flavor, and a Rye note that really comes through gives it a bit of spice. As a result, it has the flavor profile of a pepper chocolate bar, which I'm a huge fan of. Bold roasted malt, chocolate linger, a smooth coffee, low bitter finish. Just barely has a sweet side to it, back to the chocolate bar. Really good stout here.
