Rich pink and orange coloured body with a lot of haze, perhaps seventy per cent opaque, all with a very thin, fast-dying off-white head that tops the beer and fades a bit slowly, but still there. Aroma of crisp strawberry notes with a lot of dough and bread along with a good kick of wheat and floral notes that provides some dryness and a soft balance of sugars in the nose. Medium-bodied; Rich strawberry and blueberry flavours dominate here with a kick of grass and dryness, but more of the fruits come through and leave a lot of sugars in the palate to balance out the light, but noticeable hops which finally make their way through near the finish. Aftertaste shows the strawberry, dough, bread and yeast with a lot of pungency from the wheat and malts that provides a strong rich backbone for the strawberry and sugars to snuggle up against. Overall, a pretty nice, very lactosey and sweet, but also very fresh strawberry flavoured beer with some lighter hops (this to me really isn't an IPA of course) that make this more of a fruit beer based on strawberries, but with enough balance throughout to be more of a multi-faceted option. Nice to sample, especially super fresh and on tap locally! I sampled this pint on draught at Raleigh Beer Garden on 30-May-2021 for US$7,00.

On tap at Gizmo, pours a cloudy peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lactose, citrus hops, and a touch of pineapple. Flavour melds the pineapple and lactose well with the citrus hops. The hops maintain force and the beer doesn't become cloying or yeasty. Very good.
