For this representation of a West Coast-Style IPA we used a relatively simple malt bill comprised of Pale, Pils and Munich malts. The hop bill features aggressive additions of prized American hops, Chinook, Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade and Palisade. The resulting beer displays aromatics full of pine, grapefruit and spice followed by an assertive hop bitterness in the flavor profile.

On tap at Max's Taphouse, pours a hazy copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out piney hops, resinous hop oils, and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is very bitter, with loads of piney hops, crisp biscuity malt and some woody notes. Piney and bitter. Nice intense old school IIPA.

Decent and pretty easy to drink for a big beer like German steins but nothing outstanding here. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Some pine and a little pineapple. Bittersweet finish. Classic style DIPA. Tap at Pizza Paradiso.
