Draught (SA 2016). Hazy yellow colour, big white foamy head. Aroma is bready malts, some herbs, mild floral and grassy notes. Flavour is fruity, some berries, hay, mild herbal, grainy and bready tones. Grassy bitterness in the finish.

Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 (Day 3) - fuzzy golden coloured pour with a white head. Grassy and vague fruity and grainy, medium body, sweet and dull hoppy into the finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy aroma. Fruity malty grainy grassy weak hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy hoppy finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Yeasty, slightly citric nose. Light body, yeast and phenols, ends dry but with no recognizable hops. Birkerød is still battling to evolve beyond poor homebrew. So far they haven’t managed to. 010217

[ As Birkerød Sommer Ale ].Light unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, dusty. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, dusty, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150528]
