Does exactly what it says on the….. well pump clip. An easy drinking favourite among many, Citra Burst is a light golden India pale ale with resinous pine and citrus flavours and light aroma of citrus zest.

cask days 2013.
Good drinkability, nice citrus nose, some light pine. Nowhere near what i was expecting like most american citra ales. only tinges of what i was expecting from the citra hop. Its not bad, but a bit disapointing.

Big offwhite head. Clear amber body. Resiny fruity wine grape aroma with pineapple notes. Dry-sweet tropical fruit and resin taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny tropical fruit aftertaste with plastic and spice notes. Maybe it would have been better fresh. (0.5l bottle, from odd bins, Edinburgh.)

Alchemy citra burst IPA 5.4% pours a clear deep gold with a rich hoppy nose of light grapefruit and citrus zest. Full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel. The taste is bitter citrus biscuits or porridge. Rich and filling stuff.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, piney and zesty, hoppy aroma, a grassy touch as well, no malt support. Taste is dry, bitter hoppy, grassy, piney, chalky-zesty, almost a complete lack of fruitiness, weak malty backbone; prickling carbonation. Reminds of some Dutch IPAs. Meh.
