Swing. It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste!

Bottle shared @ ChrisO. Pale yellow and golden, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste plastic, lemon, orange peel, a bit chemical or artificial. Not good.

Yellow, lemon and coriander spicy notes. So much spice in a saison sabotages the flavor I expect from a beer of this style. An unnuanced "saison" is not interesting.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear straw yellow pour with a ridiculously big head, aroma has ginger lemon and lime, taste has spice citrus, some yeasty action, pretty good for a faux saison.

Bottle from Bottledog, Kings Cross. Hazy, yellow colour. Thin, bubbly, white head. Smells like the lemon infused aftershave you’d get in a Turkish barbers shop. Lemongrass. Sorbet. Taste is dry, and a little pithy bitter. Fresh palate. A little creaminess. Finish is spicy dry, with bitterness at the end.

355ml bottle at home. Pours pale yellow, light haze. Strong herbal note, bay, maybe lemon balm, more lemon itself, white pepper. Taste has a zingy freshness, light saline note. Light body, creamy texture, bay lingers.
