This limited keg-only special is our homage to one of our favourite beers, the XX Bitter by Belgian brewery De Ranke.
It pours a golden straw colour thanks to the pilsner malt used in the brew. Hallertau Mittelfruh hops add a floral aroma and big bitterness.

Keg at Ghost Whale, 02/02/18. Clear golden with a decent white head. Nose is grassy, herbal, straw, light candied frutis, yeast, stale bread, lemon rind. Taste comprises Belgian yeast esters, citric tinged straw, grains, white peppery spice, lemon drizzle, crackers, herbal notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with light grassy bitterness. Nice clean drinking and refreshing saison.
