On tap at Dovetail, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbaceous notes, grassiness, and straw. Flavour is full of herbaceous notes, some grassiness, and straw. Much better representation of the helles style than their “Helles”. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is toasted grain and straw. Slick body, grain, straw, light crisp finish, very good.

6 oz pour it yourself at Tapville Social in Evanston, Illinois. The pour is a clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is dry chalky mineral along with some soft clove. The taste is soft sweet herbal honey malt, nice earth mineral and dry soft chalk finish. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and the dry finish. Easy drinking.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy golden, medium white head. Bitterish, malty, bit bready, somewhat herbal. Tad bitter. Light to medium bodied.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma combines grass and straw with a bit of sweetness underlying. Flavor has notes of grains and leafs with a growing sweetness backing.
