Pale, slight haze, with a fairly thick head. Refined aroma, herbaceous, soft sweet malts. It's bright, nice lemony, orangey notes, with a hint of hop. Bready pale malt, nice off-dry finish, rounded wine barrel, and a good balance between the different elements.

Poured from 750mL bottle (lot 001; roped cork bottle). Hazy bright yellow with small white head. Rustic saison yeast, mild citrus underlay, feint hops and white wine. Quite nice.

750mL bottle, pours a mostly clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very fragrant and rustic, with lots of rustic saison yeast, gentle farmhouse funk, and a hint of spiciness. Flavour is maybe not quite as nice, with rustic saison yeast, some light residual sugars, harsh hopping, and light peppery notes. Not getting the white wine barrels. The nose is way better than the flavour. Good but a bit too much residual sugary, harsh hops, and not enough farmhouse notes.

750ml (thx, Frank S.!) @ Matt's new place. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: lots of rustic notes and bugs, lemony, some nice barrel notes. Taste: rustic, manure, bugs, crispy. Overall: nice one, great start of the new series. Good luck, guys!
