Grisette was the first of its kind to emerge at Hafis, earning the esteemed title of our very first beer fermented entirely in oak (aka The Foeder Pyramid™). It's a low ABV, refreshing sipper dry-hopped with German Hersbrucker hops, that balances subtle brett, light acidity, and sky-high drinkability. This variation was conditioned on local raspberries.
What it smells like, what it tastes like: The beer itself is dry and slightly acidic, with a firm bitterness. Floral aromatics are complimented by balanced notes of fresh hay and raspberry seeds.

Fantastic raspberry puree flavour mixed in with some solid grisette, grassy, farmhouse notes. bright, acidic, and crisp.

500ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma: rustic notes with berries notes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: pretty good.

Pale pink, opaque. Thin head. The aroma has a lot of raspberry, some jammy note. The base has a slight acidic note, a bit sharp, and then there's medium fruit, touch of bitterness.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy bright amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of bright tart raspberry, farmhouse yeast, and a touch of spiciness. Flavour is bright, fruity and farmhouse-y, with bright tart raspberries, spicy farmhouse yeast, and a hint of funk. Very bright, surprisingly complex, and well-integrated fruit. Excellent.
