Dry Japanese Rice Lager
Lagered long + cold and naturally carbonated, Luce boasts aromas of petrichor, honey, and a herbal tea hop character. High quality local pilsner malts and Japaneese Haiga rice were used to enhance the flavour + drinkability for a smooth, yet crisp finish.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy blonde with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of grainy rice, floral and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of grainy rice, lemon, honey, tea and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Clean, refreshing and crushable.

4oz pour at the brewery. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Herbal and rice notes on the nose. Flavour has cracker malts, a slightly herbal hop expression. Fairly uninteresting.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with dissipating big white head. Puffed rice, cereal malt, bland and boring.

Very pale. Light body. Medium bitterness. It's basic but clean. Luppolo's been doing great with their lagers lately but with everybody and their dog making this rice crap now I would have expected more.

Can pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out clean rice-like notes and straw. Flavour is dry and bitter, with lots of rice, straw and intense bitterness. Dry and straw-like finish. It's alright. Clean and drinkable but a bit harsh.
