Red Grape Ale
Ruby red saison hybrid after re-fermenting on second use Marquette grapes. Initial aromas and flavours open with blackberry and floral red wine leading to light stone fruit saison notes. Bottle and keg conditioning gives this grape ale a light sparkle that helps bring out all the lovely features. Our grape ales are a full circle project that combines our love of wine and beer. We gently press the Marquette grapes for our wines than are able to re-use the grapes in this harmonious beverage.

500mL bottle. Pours mahagony with an off-white head. Huge vinous notes and rustic bugginess on the nose. Flavour is also quite buggy with nice, musty red wine grapes, slightly floral. Great rustic, vinous wild ale.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Clear deep purple-y ruby red with small pink-ish white head. Mild oak, light saison yeast and mild vinous notes (but comes across more grape juice-y). Okay.

Purple and opaque. Nice vinous character. Soft and fruity, with good pilsner malt base.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a deep dark reddish burgundy with a small pink head. Aroma brings out huge dry vinous notes, oak and wild yeast. Flavour is bone dry, with intense red grape dry vinous notes and oaky. Buggy, vinous as hell, and bone dry. Good stuff.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Appearance: purple with a rose head. Aroma: lots of manure, very juicy, lots of grapes and cherries. Taste: same, a bit more simple, though. Overall: good one.
