[notes] Poured from can @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Clear-ish brown with small white head. Mild coconut, vanilla, foeder come through, okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark cola colour, small head. It has a lean malt and caramel profle, some cola, and a pleasant red wine note. I can't remember how long it has been since the last time I had a Dark Saison, this doesn't really seem to be a Saison anyway, but it's a pleasant Ale.

Dark colour. Muddy. Looks like poo. Plastic aroma. Thin body. Nothing there, really. I mean, dark saison is a style that sucks at the best of times, but this misses pretty badly.

Can pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out medicinal dark fruitiness and muddled earthiness. Flavour is woody, with medicinal dark fruitiness, earthiness, and wood varnish. Not infected but just not pleasant flavours. Needs serious work.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF with priceless Rachel's (yup, again!) help in organizing all the mess with glasses. Aroma: American oak, some butter. Appearance: clear copper with a white head. Taste: same. Overall: ok.
