Pour at Dark Fields of Winter. Pours clear yellow with foamy white head. Aroma is quite yeasty with notes of citrus. Flavour is floral and yeasty with notes of citrus. Nice carbonation. Not a proper Belgian, but an enjoyable beer with Belgian-y characteristics.

Hazy blond colour, lively carbonation. Aroma of alcohol, acid, mild fruits, light wort. Good body; the flavour is very grainy, worty; there's some Belgian character, spicy yeast, light aniseed, but also something else going on, some other fermentation, ossibly some acidity, and earthy character; distinctive bitterness, a touch too hot in the finish.
Weird, but good.

750ml shared with Josh (thx for the beer, man!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: cloudy golden with an extremely huge white head. Aroma: some farmhouse-ish notes and Belgian esters. Taste: along the same lines, kinda a mix of farmhouse ale and Belgian saison. Overall: pretty good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy yellow gold with big white head. Mild belgian yeast, light esters, fairly dry, a touch boozy at 8.5%,

Kind of murky, paleish. Bottle foamed up a bit, but it just means a nice head. On the nose, there's a touch of brett c, pale malts. Somewhat fruity, too. On the palate, definitely brett, and it's eating the sugars. So it's relatively dry now, with a vaguely earthy yeast character. No distinct bugs but something is going wild in there. Lean body. Only a touch effervescent...this probably was opened at a good time before it fermented too far. But that said, it's not terribly complex. Overall, a solid effort.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a mostly clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma smells like an American tripel, with plenty of candi sugar, light cotton candy, and some esters — doesn't smell authentic. Flavour also has that yeast fermentation issue that most American breweries have when attempting this style: estery, boozy, and lightly sweet. Messy and poorly fermented but not a disaster.
