Bottle, mooch tasting, courtesy of the gang
Light colour, pinkish yellow, very pale, hazy. Aroma of cheap wine, light acetic, berries. Bone dry, moderately sour, with modest character, light acetic acid flavour, mild astringency and alcohol in the finish. Boring.

750ml @ Phill's. Appearance: hazy blonde with no head. Aroma: quite nice fruit and funk, round, a bit sweet. Taste: along the same lines, very dry, bubbly, lots of funk. Overall: too dry for me, but it's still pretty good.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2022 harvest). Hazy blonde with small white head. Quince, dull funk, old grape skins. Okay.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very earthy, with armpits, barnyard funk, crisp apple skins, no hint of the grape. Flavour is grainy and seltzery, with crisp quince skins, toasted grains, sweaty notes, and dry earthiness. Doesn't have the funk or complexity that I expect from Twin Island. Decent but far from what I've come to expect from Twin Island.

Pale, hazy, thin head. Quite vinous on the aroma, but on the palate it's fairly thin. Light quince, a bit of grape, light body. It's not bad, but I think the grapey character comes across well on the nose and less so on the palate.
