We haven’t forgotten about the New England foggy lovers of the world. This hazy IPA is brewed with a new experimental hop, HBC 586, plus Citra and Amarillo for a smooth, juicy hop bomb. It’s about damn time.

On tap at Studio, pours a cloudy by golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very sharp and harsh, with tons of scorched green hops, light chalk and some perfume — ugh. Flavour is much milder, with subdued floral hops, light chalk, not much else. Other than that nose that threw me off, this is a pretty mild hazy—but one that doesn't showcase much of anything.

Opaque, peachy colour, medium head. Big weedy nose, some grapefruit and stone fruit, pale malt, that's a nice aroma. On the palate not much bitterness, so the malts come big. But they're not bad, maybe a touch sticky but holding their own. The weedy hop is most of what's left, the remaining hop complexity not translating onto the palate.

Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Biscuit malt, citrus hops, not too yeasty. Decent.
