Cascadian Midsummer is a Hoppy Lager brewed in collaboration with the amazing people at the Red Hawk Collective/Cascadian Midsummer Festival. Brewed using exclusively ingredients from the Cascadia region, Pilsner malt grown at Cornerstone Ranches in Enterprise OR, Spelt malt grown at Moon Family Farms in Horse Heaven WA, hopped in the kettle with High-Oil Cascade hops from Segal Hop Ranches in Grandview WA, and dry hopped with more of the same. Fermented with our favorite lager yeast and conditioned cold for 6 weeks. Hail Cascadia!!

On tap at Pint Defiance, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose is restrained, with a lemon, almost-cleaner-like character, and subdued grassy hops. Flavour is cleaner, with grassy hops, biscuity malt and a bit of floral character. Not their cleanest or punchiest lager but not bad.
