Bottle. A clear, brown beer topped by a small, beige head. The aroma is roasted and sweetish, with some coffee, dark sugar and a touch of licorice. It’s quite dry on the palate, with roasted malts, dark sugar and some coffee. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Some sweet licorice towards the end. A decent and easy drinkable beer, but rather ordinary and uninteresting. 150228

Wässriger, süßlich brotiger Antrunk. Zunehmend unangenehm bitter, die Brotigkeit steht dahinter. Laffes kurzes Ende. 8/7/7/6/8/7

Thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. Dark black in the glass, dry-malty nose. The beer starts malty-crisp. Hints of roast, but not that intense. The body is medium-deep and malty. The aftertaste is malty-roasted, nice bitter.
Nice Schwarzbier, but without the typical liquorice-aroma. --> 10/12/11/11

Light bodied dark beer. Expected notes of caramel & coffee. A hint of yeast I think. Hoppy bitter finish. It has it’s quality but it doesn’t have me.

Bottle looks simple, very much like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, small head. Starts mild, almost washy. Soft malty, modest sourish-soapy. Finish still mild, too less malty. Nothing special.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass is deep-black. Tastes mild, only modest malty. Sweet finish. Very drinkable!

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy tanned head; delicate nose: toasted/roasted malt and some hops with a touch of vegetables; slightly sweetish flavouir, light bodied; faint roast-bitter and sweetish-malty finish. Not really bad, but boring...........

Bottle, 4.8%. Metallic aroma. Very dark brown colour, stable light brown head. The flavour is quite roasted with a little barley bitterness. Also bready and a little sweet. Not much aftertaste.
