Cashmere hops take center stage with a strong character of melon and tangerine in this west coast style IPA (read: bitter IPA! This is not a NE Hazy IPA here). Lesser additions of Idaho 7, El Dorado, and Citra add complexity by imparting tropical fruit notes, and some light piney/resinous notes from the Idaho 7.

Draft pour enjoyed at El Sueñito, Bellingham. Mostly clean golden orange pour. Patchy head. Bold flavors that are well balanced. Grassy hops with some biscuit malts, and an orange peel bitterness. Earthy, with a woody dryness at the finish. Pencil shaving grain. Bold flavors, and easy enough drinking west coast. Fun introduction to these folks.

On tap at El Sueito, pours a minimally hazy bright golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some piney hops, some dankness, and dull cardboardy notes. Flavour is fairly bright and malty, with piney hops, resinous notes, and awkward sweet malt that just doesn't work. Weird balance and the hops don't shine properly. Not terrible but needs better calibration.
