Foeder West Coast IPA
This beer was brewed with pilsner malt, munich and crystal rye in the mash, we then hopped it with amarillo, simcoe and mosaic. Expect a complex spicy malt backbone accompanied with fruity and dank hops with notes of blueberries, orange, pine, dank & dark grape.

473mL can, pours a clear vibrant orange with a large white head. Nose brings out bright piney hops, resinous, bitter citrus and bready caramel malt. Flavour is nicely hopped, with resinous and piney hops, chewy malt, some light citrus, and bready malt. Piney and resinous, with nice chewy malty and bitter citrusy finish. I don't detect the forger. Nice malty but yet nicely hopped WCIPA. Good stuff.

Dark amber, drops nice and bright, too. Thin head. Aroma of apricot, piney hops. Lots of rye on the palate, toasty, chewy, big malt richness. Woody accent to the finish, medium bitterness. A drinkable take on a late 90s IPA. The malt complexity and understated aromatics work, making it a somewhat unconventional IPA.
