Bridgehouse has produced a special beer in tribute to the world’s highest marathon - a tipple to commemorate the 16th biennial Mount Everest Marathon. The run – which raises money for Nepalese charities – starts at 17,000-feet-high Gorak Shep, close to Everest Base Camp, and finishes at Namche Bazaar.
This year’s event is on November 30, 2015. It is a modern blonde ale with big traditional flavours of floral and citrus – balanced with a slight bitterness. The brew is a special one-off.
