[ As Rocket Brewing Black Star ].Clear dark brown black color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, licorice - salty licorice, soy sauce notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, salty licorice, roasted, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, liqourice. Chocolate, dark roasted and dry liqourice. Roasted malty and bitter. Dark malty, chewy. Roasted acidic and bitter. Dry and bitter far finish.
