Ermine pours dark and thick, giving off a huge chocolatey aroma with just a hint of peppermint. A low level of carbonation and a smooth, velvety body boosts this chocolate experience in a beer glass. The blend of sherry, bourbon and port barrels used during the barrel aging of this beer manage to both complement and give balance to the sweetness of this Imperial Stout.

Tap at Skaal, Copenhagen 29/12/2023 Sweet roasted dark malty with notes of chocolate, caramel, excellent complexity going on with lovely layering of bourbon, port, and sherry barrel aged delivery coming in, nice mouthfeel and body, mint is there but thankfully well judged/subtle. Lovely.

Draft. A very dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, peppermint, roasted malt, and lots of barrel aging. The flavor is sweet with notes of port wine, bourbon, alcohol, chocolate, roasted malt, and peppermint chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. Crazy - maybe a bit too intense.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with quickly fading brown foam. Aroma is very strong, also at distance. It's intense with chocolate and liquor, molasses, licorice, some spicy feeling like of similar to cinnamon, also strawberries. Body is fairly dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, with some roastiness. Final is fairly long, sweet, and spicy.

Can at bunchrew campsite. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, vanilla fudge, mint, caramel, taste is similar, chewy, sweet.
