Flaske 500ml. Gave fra Rune. Drukket på Bergstua 6 Okt 15. Dyp brun. Middels høyt skum som daler sakte. Pen lacing. Beskjeden karamellaroma. Smaken karamell. Tørr. Blir litt for bitter etter hvert.

Bottle, at Hr. Redaktør. It pours a lightly hazy brown body under a small, dense beige head. There’s quite a lot of American hop pellets in the aroma, followed by roasted malts, some caramel and chocolate and a touch of coffee in the far back. Some perfumed notes. It’s pretty hoppy in the flavor too, pine cones and some citrus peel. Caramel and roasted malts, chocolate and a good bitterness. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting bitter finish with a nice chocolatey touch and caramel. Well, it’s a nice one, but a tad unbalanced and I’d prefer more citrusy hops. 140405
