Cask at the Crown, Hazlemere, 27/08/18. Clear amber pour with a decent beige cap. Nose is malt forward, biscuit, caramel, light fruit esters. Taste comprises biscuit malt, brown bread, candied fruit peel, toffee, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Passable number.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A pale chestnut pour with a dense cream head; looking rather like a nitro-beer; straightforward malty aroma; smooth in the mouth with a malty body and some fruit; then a dry bisuity finish. A nice Irish Ale, I don't get the Cuban connection.
