Cask hand pull at GBBF 2018. It pours jet black with a large tan head. The aroma is sweet, oily, black forest gateaux, big cherry character, somewhat artificial, cherry cola, kirsch, tang and gummy bears. The taste is dry, bitter, charred wood, earthy, leather, liquorice, umami, tangy cherry, burnt toast, kirsch, leather and earth with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation, foamy carbonation. A bit artificial and charred. Good condition though.
