--> 12/12/11/11

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Biscuity cara-malty aroma with mildly citric and spicy hops. Moderately sweet delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft (cara-)malty base with herbal and subtle fruity hops; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with lighter herbal hoppy spice. Clean and pleasant to drink. 25.II.14

Bottle (great Garching gift!): Deep golden, bigger fluffy off-white head with a good lace, a touch of citrussy to herbal hops is detectable in the moderate pale-malty to strawy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, soft; lingering dryish bitter and pale malty finish. What a nice brew…

Bottle. Dark golden, fine carbonation, lowish head. Fine citric honeyish aroma. Chewy cookie/ honey malt, fine aromatics, lemonpeel retronasal. Nice and drinkable as opposed to to the sweet messes which often get made for x-mas in Germany.

bottle from Landbierparadies24. Clear amber-olden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, intensive malty base with a bready-grainy-biscuity touch. Shy but pleasant hops tune in adding a grassy-herbal character.

Bottle looks a bit complex, but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, spicy, modest dry. Finish with a touch of lemon, could be more spicy. But still a good beer.
