Pendle Witch Trials Anniversary Special.
The famous ‘witches’ brewer has combined pale and crystal malt with Cascade and late added Crystal hops to create a classic English pale ale in style ‘with a twist of American hops’. This gives a hint of citrus spice and tangerine on the aroma backed by a smooth bitterness and a sweet hint of caramel in taste.

Cask at Black Door, Helsinki. Amber colour with small head. Flavour had soap, malts and bitterness. Too watery, maybe some problems with quality.

(Cask at Black Door, 20121004) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had yeast, toffee and sweetness. Palate was quite light bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were soap, sweetness, malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had toffee and bitter. The cask was really fresh so the beer tasted a bit raw. An easy to drink beer that was very close to a bitter.

Cask @ Manchester & County, Manchester. Smooth texture making it great to palate. Has a balance of malt and hops with some notable fruits in the aroma, however not much in the way of flavours.
